Sweigart Farms was founded in 1946 in Mount Joy, Lancaster County, by Kenton Sweigart’s grandfather, beginning a proud family tradition. Over the years, the farm has grown and welcomed new generations. Today, the fourth generation—brothers Neal, Blake, and Ben—work alongside their parents and children to care for the cows and land they love.
The Sweigarts milk 1,000 cows and raise corn, rye, wheat, and soybeans on 1,250 acres. The family treasures the farm lifestyle and takes great pride in working together each day. They are committed to being good stewards of the land and thoughtful caretakers of their cows, ensuring that future generations of Sweigarts can continue to farm and thrive. The Sweigart family are proud member-owners of Mount Joy Cooperative, and the milk from their farm processed by Dairy Farmers of America into fresh milk and dairy products.
