Rock Solid Dairy, located in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, is owned and operated by Zane and Juanita Garber and their family. For Zane, farming isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. He purchased his family’s dairy farm in 2001 and later bought his current farm in 2008, continuing a proud family tradition of dairy farming.
Today, Rock Solid Dairy milks 330 cows and grows 900 acres of homegrown forages to feed their herd. The Garbers take great pride in producing high quality milk and caring for their cows and land. As Zane says, “Quality is of utmost importance to us here. It’s a daily commitment.”
Rock Solid Dairy is a farmer-owner member of Dairy Farmers of America, and their milk is marketed to local plants such as Schreiber Foods and Land O’Lakes butter.
